A note on air quality. We do not list plants as "air purifying". The often-quoted figures come from sealed-chamber experiments (Wolverton et al., NASA, 1989). A later review of the evidence (Cummings & Waring, Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology, 2020) found that potted plants have a negligible effect on indoor air in real buildings; ventilation does far more. Pet-safety labels are shown only where the plant is listed as non-toxic by the ASPCA. The library counts each plant and cultivar we supply separately.
